Safety is vital to the expansion of a thriving fire community. This course is mandatory if you have not taken the safety portion from Christina in the past, or are not proficient in the fire safety etiquette and technique described below. You will be expected to perform fire safety during Soul Fire

About the event

Learn how to:

  • Set a safe stage and fueling area
  • Properly dip and spin-off
  • Fuel and safety equipment
  • What to do if a dancer catches fire
  • How to extinguish different props - fans, dragon staff, hoop, poi and torches all have different methods. 

Participants must remain sober and sign a liablility waiver. Fuel and safety equipment is provided.
